  8. I recently installed the program Fblit on my system, and have been
  9. experimenting with various full-sized pictures for my Workbench and
  10. window backgrounds.
  11.  
  12. If you are not familiar with Fblit, this is a great program for AGA
  13. systems, which will put your background pics into fast memory, so
  14. you can use full-sized backgrounds without wasting ANY of your chip
  15. ram.  In fact, with Fblit, you will use less chip ram with a full-sized
  16. background than you did by using a small "tile" background before. It
  17. also allows you to run NewIcons in RTG mode, without a GFX card!

  19. Anyway, as I was browsing the web looking for suitable background pics,
  20. I found some pictures of a beautiful red '58 Chevy convertible (one of
  21. my favorite classic autos).

  23. Now all I needed was a background to put it on - something simple, yet
  24. stunning - then I found this great space photo.  It was perfect, and the
  25. angle and lighting of the car photo seemed to match up just right.
  26.  
  27. So here is the result.  I always thought these cars had a sort-of space ship
  28. look to them anyway.  Hope you like it.
